Energy Efficient Driving Index (EEDI) templates are assigned to vehicles, based on vehicle type or the nature of their work. These templates allocate 100 points that can be scored by drivers, split across different parameters. please see an example template below:
In the example provided:
- 10 points are available if a driver does not idle at all.
- If a driver idles for 3% or more of their driving time, they will get 0 points.
- If a driver idles for 1.5% of their driving time, they will get 5 points.
