Removing the HDD
In order to remove the hard drive, the Key Lock must be turned to the unlocked position, and the 2 screws on the front panel must be loosened. Remove the front panel, then loosen the 2 screws on the hard drive caddy to release this from the unit.
Please ensure that when re-inserting the hard drive, the hard drive is fully inserted until you hear a click, the screws on the caddy are secured, the front panel is re-secured and the key is turned to the locked position. Without completion of these steps, the DVR unit will not record.
Removing the SD Card
In order to remove the SD card, the Key Lock must be turned to the unlocked position, and the 2 screws on the front panel must be loosened. Remove the front panel, and push the SD card in until it clicks, and slots out.
Please ensure that when re-inserting the SD card, the front panel is re-secured and the key is turned to the locked position. Otherwise, the DVR unit will not record.

Install VSS Player

Once downloaded, run the VSS Player.exe application.

Connect the Storage to PC
Connect the hard drive cartridge to your PC using a SATA to USB adaptor. For SD Cards, insert these directly into your PC, or utilise an SD Card reader, if required.

Access footage
Follow the VSS Player user manual to access and download the required footage.
